Almost Home offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. In a culture which values your input, our staff will work with you in order to fit your skills and interests with our program needs.
Almost Home Volunteer
Maintain shelter security/policy enforcement and be available to resident guests if the need arises.
Foster staff relationships with the family and determine any of their specific needs and effectively advocate for them.
Ensure residents complete their weekly/daily chores.
Follow shelter policies and enforce those violations in a fair and impartial manner.
Bring consistency and structure into resident family lives by maintaining consistent role-modeling behavior.

Shopper Assisting
(1st Saturday 9:00-11:00a.m. and 3rd Thursday 3:00-5:00p.m.)
